Activities to practice on...

Student Led Conferences were a fantastic hit! We all had our happy moments and proud moments of the children. We continue to work together as a team to help our children learn and grow.

Activities that you are welcome to practice with your child at home are:
Cheerio/Fruit Loop Math:

Group them into 5s/10s and skip count. I was a kid whose parents also told me to never play with food. But hey, if it incorporates learning, why not!

 Go 10:

This was the game that your child introduced to you during student leds, practice a lot with them! When they master this game, alternate to Go 5. Building a foundation to making 10s and 5s allow your child to understand addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (in the future).

Free Lance Journal Writing:

After looking at your child's writing journals at school, having a home journal can also help your child's writing enhance. You will notice a huge significance in imagination and putting thoughts onto paper. Good writers are always more expressive, in tune with their feelings, and good public speakers. Its never too early to start!
